Rotary disc filter

Rotary disc filters are a type of high-efficiency filtration equipment used in wastewater treatment, primarily applied in areas such as advanced municipal wastewater treatment, industrial water purification, and greywater reuse.

Its core structure includes a fan-shaped filter disc, a drive motor, a central water collection cylinder, and a backwashing device. It adopts a PLC automatic control system to realize the full-process management of filtration, cleaning, and sludge discharge.

The equipment adopts a compact structure, reducing the floor space by 75% compared to traditional sand filters. It also features fully automatic operation, low head loss, and no need for additional booster pumps, making it suitable for the renovation and upgrading of existing wastewater treatment facilities.

This equipment operates based on the principle of gravity flow. After wastewater is filtered through the filter cloth, backwashing uses negative pressure suction technology to periodically remove sludge from the surface of the filter cloth, eliminating the need for shutdown. Compared with traditional sand filters, rotary disc filters offer advantages such as stable effluent quality, low operating costs, and small footprint.
