Grilled Sewage Cleaner

The grilled sewage cleaner is one of the core products in the complete set of equipment for pre-treatment and contamination removal in water supply and drainage systems. It replaces traditional bar screens by utilizing a grille mesh structure composed of rake teeth, rake shafts, and chain plates. The grill mesh performs a continuous rotary motion within the frame, intercepting and separating suspended solids from wastewater. The captured debris is then brushed off by rotating scrapers into a debris hopper.   

This equipment employs uniquely designed plow-shaped rake teeth arranged in a specific assembly sequence and quantity on horizontal shafts to form a rake chain. The spacing between rake teeth is adjustable based on water flow rates, allowing flexible installation at pump stations or water treatment system inlets. When the drive unit actuates the rake chain to move upward, debris in the water is intercepted by the rake teeth, while liquid flows through the gaps between the teeth. Upon reaching the uppermost point, the rake chain reverses direction and moves downward. At this stage, materials trapped on the rake teeth dislodge automatically via gravity. When the rake teeth rotate back to the base of the equipment, the cycle repeats continuously, enabling continuous removal of debris from the water to achieve solid-liquid separation.         

The key strengths of this machine lie in its continuous separation of suspended solids from water, ensuring high operational efficiency, smooth motion, minimal water level differential across the grilles, and resistance to clogging. The teeth in the grille mesh can be manufactured from nylon or stainless steel, while the rake teeth and chain plates are made of stainless steel, significantly enhancing the overall corrosion resistance of the grilles. Stainless steel grille teeth are recommended for grilles with narrower gaps (to ensure corrosion resistance and operational durability).
