Flotation Machine

The high-efficiency dissolved air flotation system consists of a highly efficient air dissolution system designed based on next-generation solid-liquid separation technology. This enables the equipment to effectively remove organic and inorganic suspended solids, flocculants, phosphorus (P), and oil and grease from industrial wastewaters such as those from refining, chemical processing, brewing, vegetable oil production and refining, slaughtering, electroplating, and printing and dyeing.

System Advantages

The purpose of a dissolved air flotation system is to reduce or remove chemical oxygen demand (COD), total suspended solids (TSS), and aerosolized particulate matter (FOG) from industrial wastewater. The DAF system uses fine air bubbles (also known as "white water") that attach to suspended matter in the wastewater stream, increasing its buoyancy and causing it to rise to the surface. The floating solids are then removed by a simple yet effective scraper mechanism. Chemical conditioning agents are often used to enhance the efficiency of the DAF process.

The DAF process uses the most reliable and efficient method for generating optimally sized bubbles. Air is dissolved in water under pressure, and then a controlled nozzle orifice is used to reduce the pressure entering the DAF tank. As the pressure decreases, the air naturally escapes from the solution as microbubbles.
